Description
THE ULTIMATE DRIVE-ABLE PLATFORM
Tailor-made to the contractor’s needs the featherweight, ultra-compact manlift LEONARDO HD will allow you to travel and work where other machines wouldn’t. It is the ultimate drive-able lift, the only lift able to completely replace scaffolding, ladders and traditional lifts on all trades on job sites with a height of up to 16ft, both in new construction and maintenance work. Nimble for superior maneuverability, but powerful where it matters the most.

In wider spaces, the compact footprint and zero turn of the Leonardo HD allow for many more units to be present on the jobsite than regular scissor lifts, creating a situation where each operator will be using his own lift, vastly increasing worksite efficiency and cutting time and costs.
LEONARDO HD not only it provides a safer and more efficient alternative to ladders and scaffoldings, but it will also help coping with new H&S rules, minimizing interactions and ensuring the mandatory distance between workers, still allowing workers to do more by working on their own.
Efficiency and Versatility
• featherweight of only 1170lbs (Indoor only)
• new dual Indoor/Outdoor version - unit total weight 1234Lbs
• easily driven through doorways, tight spaces and passenger elevators
• dual rollout decks provide outreach at both ends without sacrificing any platform capacity
• wheel locking device allows you to drive forward and backward in a straight line when accessing narrow aisles or driving on ramps
• wide drive and steer non-marking tires – for reduced ground pressure and increased traction on tough job sites.
Safety
• drivable at full height, fully loaded and with the platform fully extended, at an automatic slow speed of 0,52 mph: no more exhausting mounting on and off the platform or scaffold to push it into the right position.
• unrestricted capacity 397Lbs reduce the need to climb up or down to load material.
• built-in tilt sensor, flashing light and audible alarm are all standard features.
Durability
• maintenance-free lifting mast
• simple design and a purposefully intuitive component-layout ensure a straightforward maintenance experience and maximum uptime
• Optional 100 Ah maintenance-free batteries for a longer work cycle between charges.

The Leonardo HD Drive-able Lift Platform in Action:
BRAVI Platforms CASE STUDY
by: Balfour Beatty, Midland Metropolitan, Hospital Project
INSTALLATION OF PLASTERBOARD CEILINGS
Leonardo HD & Solo-Gyps VS Traditional Scissor Lifts
Flynn Interiors Ltd is a specialist contractor currently installing plasterboard ceiling panels at the MMUH Project in Birmingham.
The brief
Seeking a solution which enables the faster installation of plasterboard ceiling panels, while complying with social distancing regulations on the jobsite.Site restrictions have meant that only one operator was allowed on one platform at anytime.
The solution from Bravi Platforms
Working with hire company Nationwide Platforms, the Leonardo HD was introduced together with the Solo-Gyps drywall attachment. With zero turn,ultra-compact footprint and comfortable extendable dual decks, the Leona rdo HD boasts exceptional maneuverability within a congested building project. The addition of the Solo-Gy ps simplifies the positioning of plasterboard ceiling panels, saving manpower and effectively allowing one operator to lift panels without assistance.
“Flynn Interiors have found the Leonardo HD to be extremely useful and time saving on site. It is easy to manoeuvre and has exceeded our expectations. We look forward to continuing to use this machine and seeing what else Nationwide has in store." Scott Holland - Project Manager of Flynn Interiors Ltd
CHALLENGES:
- Find an alternative solution to save time and resources while installing plasterboard ceiling panels.
- Complying with Health and Safety regulations, avoiding two operators working on the same lift at the same time.
- Increase efficiency and productivity in very tight and congested working spaces.
RESULTS with LEONARDO HD & SOLO GYPS:
- Reduce the installation time by 50% per panel and with one operator instead of two. (saving £150 per day in labour).
- Compliant with social distancing rules enforcing the concept of one operator per platform at anyone time.
- Exceptional maneuverability in tight spaces, no manual handling, 0° turning radius.
FINDINGS on 7000 sqmt plasterboard ceiling panels installation
> TlMINGS (for installing 1 sheet of plasterboard)
Leonardo HD & Solo-Gyps: 1min (+ 20 sec. for positioning the sheet on cradle)
Traditional Scissor Lifts: 3/4 min
> EFFICIENCY (for installing 1 sheet of plasterboard)
Leonardo HD & Solo-Gyps: 1 operator (+ 1 operator for 20 sec. while drilling to the ceiling)
Traditional Scissor Lifts: 2 operators
> QUANTITY (of installed plasterboard sheets per day per workstation)
Leonardo HD & Solo-Gyps: 50 sheets
Traditional Scissor Lifts: 25/30 sheets
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:
> Low entry step: avoids fatigue and injuries by allowing operators to comfortably enter and exit the platform.
> Increased maneuverability in tight spaces reducing the risk of damaging fixtures and fittings.
