Gearflow + AssetWorks M5 integration

Your M5 assets and cost codes flow into Gearflow, and parts cost flows back onto the M5 work order at receipt. M5 stays your system of record.

About

AssetWorks M5

AssetWorks M5 (formerly FleetFocus) is enterprise fleet and asset management software. Large fleets use it as the master record for assets, maintenance and cost.

What you can do

Keep M5 as the record, buy parts in Gearflow

  • Sync assets and cost codes. M5 assets and cost codes import on a schedule, so every request uses your M5 numbers.
  • See Gearflow demand in M5. Each ordered line opens an M5 part request with the PO and vendor in a note.
  • Cost lands on the work order. At receipt, Gearflow issues the parts to the M5 work order with cost and tax, and closes the part request.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does Gearflow replace M5?

No. M5 stays the record for assets and maintenance. Gearflow handles sourcing, quotes and POs, and posts the result back.

What happens to a request with no M5 work order?

It is bought in Gearflow as normal but not posted to M5, because M5 needs a work order to hold the parts.

How often do assets sync?

Assets sync on a schedule and pick up changes since the last run. Cost codes refresh every 6 hours.

Scale your fleet. Not the chaos.
