About

HCSS E360

HCSS Equipment360 (E360) is equipment maintenance software built for heavy civil contractors. Shops use it to track equipment, schedule service and run work orders.

What you can do

Order parts without leaving E360

  • Request parts from a work order. A Gearflow button inside E360 starts a parts request with the unit and work order already attached.
  • Get the PO into E360 on its own. When you approve a quote, Gearflow sends the vendor, line prices and tax to E360, and E360 builds the PO.
  • Close the loop at receipt. Received parts post to the E360 work order, so parts cost is on the unit without data entry.
  • Keep one equipment list. Import equipment, jobs and employees from E360 so Gearflow uses the same unit numbers you do.

Getting connected

How to turn it on

  1. In Gearflow, open Settings, then Integrations, and create an HCSS key.
  2. In E360, paste the key under System Preferences, Gearflow Integration.
  3. Set E360's default item codes for Job, Shop and Equipment so parts post cleanly.
  4. Our team checks the first orders with you.
Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can I make more than one parts request per E360 work order?

The E360 button sends one request per work order. For a second order on the same work order, start it in Gearflow; it still posts back to the same E360 work order.

When do parts show up on the E360 work order?

At receipt. Ordering creates the PO; receiving the parts puts them on the work order.

Does Gearflow change work order status in E360?

No. Gearflow fills in the parts. Your own E360 statuses stay in your control.
